Referee Information ALL GAMES HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED. THERE ARE NO MORE POSITIONS AVAILABLE. The AFC Lightning Soccer Club invites you to participate in the Atlanta Lightning Spring Challenge. Sign up directly on the web by clicking the "Referee Registration" link on this menu. THE TEAMS The tournament is for boys and girls select teams from U10 to U14. LOCATION Games will be played at McCurry Park in Fayetteville and BSC in Peachtree City. TIME LINE Tournament dates are February 13th and 14th, 2010. ASSIGNMENTS As required by USSF, the more senior referees who have replied to us before February 1st will be assigned first. After that date, we will have to make assignments based on the availability of games, regardless of the referee’s experience level. Please sign up early so we can make the best match between you and the games. PAY The pay scale will be as follows: AGE FORMAT REFEREE ASST. REF HALF U09/10 6 v 6 $20 - 25 mins U11/12 8 v 8 $20 $15 25 mins U13/14 11 v 11 $25 $20 30 mins Payments will be made in cash and can be collected on site at any time after the completion of the game. Referees will also be provided with drinks and snacks during the day. ACCOMMODATIONS Hotel accommodations will be provided for referees travelling further than 100 miles to come to the tournament. If a room is provided, the referee will be expected to do at least four games per day and will have to share the room with another referee. We can not pay for your room if you choose to share it with your spouse or children unless they are refereeing as well. If you are travelling with a team and choose to stay with them, we can not reimburse you for your room at their hotel. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
