Jeremy Fontenot

Head Women's Soccer Coach Jeremy Fontenot enters his eighth season leading the Lady Jaguars.

Fontenot finished the 2022 season with a 9-9-2 record, giving the Lady Jaguars the most wins in a single season in program history. It also marked the first time that the team finished with a .500 record. The Lady Jaguars earned the number three seed in the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament. Under his guidance, the Lady Jaguars had four All-SWAC performers during this historic season. Lonnie Mulligan, Cordney Armstrong and Aniya Clark earned first team honors and Sydney Bellamy earned second team.

Prior to his arrival, Fontenot earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources at Upper Iowa University.

Fontenot coached the Lady Eagles at Parkview Baptist for three seasons and leading the team to the playoffs every year. He was named district coach of the year in his final season. Fontenot produced a handful of All-District players and two All-Metro players during his tenure at Parkview.

Coach Fontenot has been married to his beautiful wife Ashley for 10 years, and reside in Baton Rouge with their three daughters, Jordyn, Jayden and Jaicee.

Sheneaka Wright

Sheneaka Wright enters her seventh season with the Lady Jaguars where she specializes in Goalkeeper training.

In 2018, Wright coached Chioma Eriken to the SWAC Goalkeeper of the year and first team All-SWAC honors. Sydney Bellamy earned second team all-conference honors with guidance from Wright..

Sheneaka Wright is a Jamaican native who has a passion for soccer.

Wright spent her first college years playing at Harcum College then moved on to Bloomfield College. Immediately after graduating, Wright returned to Harcum College to coach, where she specialized in goalkeeper training. Within her second year of coaching, Wright’s team earned their first NJCAA Region Championship along with naming their goalkeeper “Most Defensive Player."

Wright looks forward to giving back to her native country by recruiting future players.
