Marc Lue Young

Marc Lue Young joined the FMU family as assistant soccer coach in July of 2021 before moving to head women's soccer coach in July of 2022.


Lue Young, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, migrated to Miramar, Fla. at the age of 12 where he attended Miramar High School and lettered in soccer for four years. He played competitive youth for the prestigious Miami Lakes Soccer Club who were one of the top ranked teams in the state. Out of high school, Young was recruited to play division I soccer at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn. where he played for two years before returning back home to South Florida to finish his studies at Florida International University.


During his time as a player, Coach Lue Young was invited to the U23 Jamaican National Camp. The camp was ran by former Jamaican National Team head coach Carl Brown - who is currently the scouting director at Florida United.


Lue Young came to Florida Memorial University after spending four years as the head coach for the Pembroke Pines Charter High in Pembroke Pines, FLa. Under his leadership, Lue Young led the Jaguars to three consecutive district championships, two regional finals and the first state finals in program history. Lue Young has achieved major success at Pembroke Pines Charter High School coaching the player of the year in 2020, and 12 All-county first and second team selections.


Lue Young is currently in the Elite Club National League Director, College Director, and Head Coach at Youth Soccer Powerhouse, Supreme FC. Coach Lue Young coaches in the prestigious ECNL, where he has led his team to the ECNL National Championships in 2022 and 2023. Lue Young has produced eight All-conference players and has 22 collegiate commits in the past two years.


Lue Young earned his bachelors degree in physical education & sports management from FIU. Coach Lue Young is currently pursuing his USSF National B License.
