Grant Brubacher

Grant Brubacher enters his 17th season leading the Tabor men’s soccer team. This is his tenth season focusing on the men’s program after coaching both the men and women from 2007-13. Previous to his appointment to lead the soccer teams, he was the assistant baseball coach at Tabor from 2006-07.


Brubacher graduated from Tabor College with a degree in business administration in 2006. In 2019, Brubacher also completed his master’s degree in Hillsboro. During his time as a Bluejay, Brubacher played soccer, basketball, and baseball. His accolades from his playing career include being named to three all-conference soccer teams, two all-conference basketball teams, and two all-conference baseball teams. He was the KCAC Offensive Player of the Year in soccer in 2004 and an honorable mention NAIA All-American in basketball that same season. In 2018 Grant was inducted into the Tabor College Athletic Hall of Fame.


During the 2020-21 season, Brubacher picked up his 100th career coaching win. Brubacher has led his teams to KCAC championship game appearances in 2012, 2013, and 2021. The 2021 season also resulted in the Bluejay men making their firstNAIA national tournament appearance since 1961. He was again recognized as the KCAC Coach of the Year in 2021 after receiving the same award in 2012.


Grant is married to his wife of 13 years, Vickie and together they have three children: Oliver, Weston, and Brielle.

Brad Bizzell

Bizzell enters his second year as a graduate assistant at Tabor College after playing and graduating from Averett University with a degree in History and Politics. While at Averett, Bizzell was named captain his junior year and received the coaches player of the year award while being named on the academic all-conference list all four years. He is originally from Topsail Island, N.C.
