Prior to taking over at Wiley College, Coach Q served as head coach of boy’s and girl’s soccer at Caldwell Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has an overall boy's record of 32-8-3, girl's record of 29-15-0, and he has received the Triad Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honor four times.

A graduate of Bethel College (Mishawaka, IN), Coach Q was a member of both the golf and soccer teams. Coach Quarandillo also has international experience as both player and coach, and has played at the amateur level in three different countries. In 2006 Coach Q founded and Directed the Alpha Blazers Football Club in South Africa. Jamie was a scholarship volleyball player in college with two collegiate national championships. As lifelong athletes, they have completed dozens of marathons and ultra marathons. They both have numerous Comrades finishes including the Guinness World Record 2010 finish. Josh and Jamie have three daughters, Jordyn, Maria, and Haley, and three sons, Jansen, Raja, and Leighton.
