Patrick Daum

Patrick ‘Rick’ Daum is in his fourth year (2019-20) in the Southwest Baptist University Department of Athletics. Rick Daum is a member of the Athletics Administration Team in the role of Director of External Operations. Daum is responsible for a variety of functions ranging from sponsorships, to donor relations and athletics marketing. In December, 2017, Daum was also named the third Head Coach of the Men’s Soccer Team since its relaunch for the 2012 season.

Charles Guelly

Charles Guelly will begin his first season (2020-2021) as Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s Soccer team. A native from Paris in France, Guelly has obtained a bachelor of arts at Drury University (2018) where he majored in Business Management.


Before coming overseas, Charles has been playing in one of the most prestigious academy in France: Paris Saint Germain. That’s where he got to play with current and future national players, some of them 2018 world’s cup winners. At Drury, Guelly was named twice in the All-conference teams (2016-2017).


Guelly has origins in Peru, from his mother side, where he got to live 7 months and has allowed to speak fluently in Spanish. Guelly speaks fluently three languages: English, French, and Spanish. Guelly brings years of international and domestic playing and coaching experiences. Guelly is a young and very passionate coach that has the passion to bring the best out of the players, and to develop people off the field as well.
