Pritchard Ndaira

Pritchard Ndaira is entering his second season at the helm for the Lady Eagles. A former Faulkner men’s soccer standout on the pitch, Ndaira ushered the women’s team to a 1-11-2 record in his first season.


The former All-Southern States Athletic Conference goalkeeper led the league in saves per game his last three seasons as a player. The Triangle, Zimbabwe native tallied 323 saves over three seasons, averaging 6.6 stops per contest.


Ndaira was also a three-time all-academic team member and earned a conference Defensive Player of the Week honor his senior year.


After graduating he pursued coaching opportunities at George Washington Carver High School and Mountain Brook High School where he served as assistant coach in 2016 and 2017, respectively.


Ndaira worked with the Alabama Olympic Development Program as a goalkeeper coach and the Alabama Elite Player Development Program as a head coach. He has also coached with the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club and Crank Soccer since 2017.


"I am excited and honored to be given the opportunity to be a part of a university that means so much to me and my family," Ndaira said. "I am looking forward to building a program that is successful both on and off the field while reflecting the values of the institution."


Ndaira earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Faulkner in 2015. He is married to the former Nicole Berryman who was a goalkeeper for the Lady Eagles for four seasons as well. The couple welcomed their first child in June 2019, a daughter named Charlotte Jolee Ndaira.

Jennifer King

Jennifer King comes to Faulkner after six seasons as the head coach of the women’s program at her alma mater, Mars Hill Bible School in Florence, Ala. King took her teams to a 91-32-8 record over that span, winning the AHSAA Class 1A-3A, Area 8 championship in 2014. King’s squad went on to finish as runner-up in Area/Region play each of the next five seasons while also going to the AHSAA state quarterfinals in 2017.


The Florence native also served as part of the coaching ranks in the Shoals Soccer Club as well as the Alabama Olympic Development Program.


King played collegiately at Shelton State Community College from 2006-2008. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
