Tony Odorisio

Tony Odorisio took over the men's soccer program in February 2021.


Through the 2022-23 season, the men's program has collected four all-conference honors and 12 NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors under Odorisio's direction.


Odorisio came to Doane from Iowa Wesleyan University, where he was head coach from 2016-2021 and posted a 38-69-10 record. Prior to coaching at Iowa Wesleyan, Odorisio took his first head coaching position at Central Community College in Columbus in 2015. He had served as an assistant coach at Bellevue University in 2009 and from 2012-15 when the Bruins qualified for a pair of NAIA National Tournaments.


Odorisio took over an IWU team that was 1-8 in conference play in 2015, prior to his arrival, and by 2019, he was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Coach of the Year, leading the Tigers to an undefeated conference mark at 9-0. In his final three seasons, the team posted three Top Four finishes in the conference.


A member of four NCAA Division I national qualifying teams at Creighton, Odorisio experienced success at the highest level in collegiate soccer. The Bluejays advanced to the Elite Eight twice as well as a Sweet Sixteen appearance during his four seasons. A two-time Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) All-Conference selection in the midfield, he also earned MVC All-Freshman Team honors. Odorisio played professional soccer for FC KooTeePee in the Finnish Premier League in 2008.

Harlan Milder

Coach Harlan Milder joined the Tiger coaching staff in the spring of 2019. He brings a great wealth of knowledge to the program with more than 30 years of coaching experience, both at the club level and high school level.


Most recently, he served as the head coach at Lincoln Pius X High School where his teams won two state championships and finished with two runner-up finishes. He has served as a club coach in both Omaha and Lincoln as well as serving as a coach for the Nebraska Olympic Development program.


Milder is a nationally licensed coach by the USSF and NSCAA. He has also served as an instructor for the Nebraska State Soccer Association.


Recently he retired from practicing criminal law and now serves as a social studies substitute teacher.
