For the first weekend of Crossroads, several colleges are having Homecoming in the Jackson area. So teams may have to book rooms in Flowood and Pearl due to these happening in the Jackson area. Both areas are full of shopping and dining establishments, as well as outdoor malls, and within 20 minutes of the JFC complex (possibly closer depending on traffic. This effects the first weekend only. There are plenty of hotels in these areas.
