Southern Soccer Girls ShowcaseAs far as soccer is concerned here at Finlandia, our goal is to create a program that will be successful on multiple fronts such as competitiveness, GPA, graduation rate, recruiting, and identity (style of play). The program is highly structured and rewarding for players that believe in a high paced attacking style of possession soccer with a strong emphasis on creativity. We have also just joined a brand-new conference called the C2C. By joining the C2C, we now have a direct pathway to the NCAA National Tournament. The team will be highly diverse from nationality to race to economic standing. It’s this diversity that will make us so successful. When you bring in players from around the country and the world, you get the opportunity to blend different styles of the game. This will be the foundation of our philosophy on how to play. Academically (the most important part of the college experience) we have degrees in Healthcare Management, Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Nursing, Physical Therapy, RN-BSN, Art Therapy, Biology, Criminal Justice, English, History, Liberal Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Art Therapy, and Graphic Design our Nursing and Criminal Justice programs are particularly good with an 100% hire rate six months after graduation. Our Nursing and Physical Therapy program has a 100% pass rate on their NCLEX on the first try and 100% of nursing students have received job placements within 6 months of passing their NCLEX.

In my time as an assistant with the program, we have brought in the best recruiting class in school history and continue to grow into a highly competitive program. We have also just joined a brand new conference called the ACAA. By joining the ACAA, we now have a direct pathway to the NCAA National Tournament. This is an exciting time for the program and I want you to be a part of it.

Soccer in College gave me the resources to get my profile out to many college coaches. The site is easy to use and is a contributor in helping me land my college scholarship.
