Ohio Galaxies Girl's Fall College ShowcaseWe look for two main things when we recruit. First, Cedarville soccer is a Christian program and we are intentional about integrating our faith into our play. We use our gifts for Gods glory, and want guys that truly love and care about one another and develop incredible relationships. Second, we want guys who can stand toe to toe with the best in the country and compete. We look to sign DI players who want to be at a Christian college. Currently we have players that have turned down scholarships to mid-major NCAA DI colleges and universities because of the incredible culture and experience here at CU. We believe Cedarville is one of the best places to play college soccer in the country as we move into NCAA DII. If you want to see our style of play and short highlight video please take a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F6DAUwhUc4&feature=channelIf. The team is chosen through the recruiting process so it is critical to take note of the steps below in order to understand our process at the college level. We primarily look and scout players during the spring of their junior year during club events, tournaments, showcases, etc and during the fall of their senior year. If your club will be playing in fall/spring showcases, please let us know. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please fill out the online recruit questionnaire at www.cedarville.edu/admissions/requestinfo/?athletics=soccer. 1) Come to one of our JR/SR advanced clinics. This is the best ways for you to get to know our program, coaching style and campus. It also allows us to evaluate and give you feedback from a recruiting standpoint. All information is online at http://www.cedarville.edu/Event/Sports-Camp/Individual/Boys-Advanced-Soccer or you can click on the link at the top of our soccer homepage to find more information - http://yellowjackets.cedarville.edu/index.aspx?tab=menssoccer&path=msoc. 2) Come to camp in the summer. Many of our currently players have come through our camp system as it gives us an entire week to see you play and helps to develop a relationship between coaches and players. Individual and team camps can be found online www.cedarville.edu/event/sportscamp/boys_soccer/. 3) Visit Cedarville’s Campus. You can schedule through our Admissions Office at 937-766-7700 or visit online www.cedarville.edu/Admissions/. 4) See us play. With hundreds of fans, all games under the lights, and one of the best facilities in the country, we have an incredible atmosphere that makes Cedarville one of the greatest places to play college soccer. It will give you the opportunity to meet our players, see our level and style of play, and get the full Cedarville experience. 5) Send us a schedule, game or highlight tape so we can watch you play, especially if you can’t make it to camp here. 6) Check out our campus and facilities online www.cedarville.edu/cf/tour. I look forward to keeping in touch with you. Please drop me an e-mail this week and fill out the online questionnaire so I know you received this and we will continue to talk as much as possible in the future. If you have any questions or comments feel free to email or contact on either my office or cell phone. Talk to you soon.

Blast FC College ShowcaseThe Cedarville University soccer team is a Christian program and we are intentional about integrating our faith into our play. We focus on using our gifts and abilities to glorify God and honor him on the field. We have some amazing things going on here within our program and truly believe Cedarville is one of the best places to play college soccer in the country as we move into NCAA DII. We have a very rich academic and athletic history, with the soccer program boasting 34 post season appearances, 12 conference championships, and 10 national tournament appearances. We were ranked one of the top 10 programs in the country for Christian Universities this past year and had an incredible run at the end of the season to make it to the national tournament. If you get a chance check out the videos below so you see how we won the region final - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1-breOIlns or on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld75I40la8c (Another video an alumni put together). Cedarville is an incredible place (campus, facilities, academics) but more importantly I think with men’s soccer we are trying to do something different than almost any other institution – combine the idea of playing at an incredibly high level but ALSO being a program that seeks to honor and glorify God and develop relationships and bonds that last a lifetime. At Cedarville, we are doggedly pursuing something that is bigger than just a game. We want to be the #1 place in the country to play college soccer anywhere in the country. To us that means more than winning games. Although success on the field is extremely important to us and we intend to work incredibly hard to be a National Contender in Division II, being the #1 place to play means more than that. It means being part of something bigger than yourself, it means being a part of a team that truly loves and cares about one another. It means developing lifelong friendships. It means developing not only soccer players but Christian leaders. It means pursuing excellence in every facet of life, not just soccer. Cedarville University Soccer is committed to being a place driven by purpose, brotherhood, intensity, discipline and we believe that Cedarville truly is a place unlike any other. We are adamant about recruiting quality individuals that are looking to play at a very high level and have an unbelievable soccer experience. The team is chosen through the recruiting process so it is critical to take note of the steps below in order to understand our process at the college level.
