If you are scheduled to play at the ECU Fields, every player/parent must
sign the ECU Waiver Form and this must be turned in at registration.
If you previously signed the Form for the canceled February Tournament,
please cross through the February Dates and insert the May play dates.

North Rec Field Player Waiver
Those teams scheduled
for the North Recreational Soccer Complex need to have a signed waiver
for each player at tournament check in.

We have come to realize that postponing a soccer tournament in North Carolina is extremely difficult. Although it is very exciting to see North Carolina so busy in Youth Soccer, it creates a rescheduling nightmare. The Beast of the East is in it's 21st year and has become an Eastern NC tradition. It is very important to us and to many teams to play the Beast of the East. We have parents and coaches that have played in the Beast and now bring their children to play in the tournament. In the past 20 years we have never canceled, and our intention is not to cancel this year. We have decided to move to the weekend of May 15-16, instead of the previous reschedule dates of May 22-23. We are aware of the conflict with the Singer Challenge Cup, but this seems to be the weekend with the least amount of conflict. If your team is playing in the Singer Challenge Cup we will give you a 50% refund on your entry fee for this year and offer a 50% discount for the 2011 Beast of the East. We would need to know if you plan to withdraw by 2/15/10 in order to start the refund process. If you have ordered t-shirts, you will have the option of keeping this order or a refund. If you are keeping t-shirts, we will be happy to mail them directly to you. We apologize for the delay in our final decision and any inconvenience that this has caused, we were exploring every option possible to make this work.
