History

The tournament started in 2000 with a modest field of (8) teams.  Due to the overwhelming response of teams requesting to get in, we expanded the event in 2001 to (24) teams.  In 2002 we decided to expand even more and accepted (44) teams.  For 2003 we moved the venue to accomodate another phase of expansion. We ended up fielding (96) teams.  In 2004, the tournament partnered up with (2) major sponsors Beacon Orthopaedics Tri Health. This partnership along wth the field capacity expansion at Miami Whitewater Soccer Complex enabled us to field 126 teams in 04'.

In 2005, we expanded the tournament to include (2) other local venues and hosted 194 teams from state associations throughout the midwest.  In 2006 we expanded once again and hosted 228 teams from 10 different States. 2007 proved to be out best level of competition ever with 230 plus teams from 12 different states.  2008 will be even a bigger success as we partner up with local club CFA.
