8/31/09 7:00 PM The Champions and Finalists have been posted on the Champions tab under Schedules.
We followed the tournament rules for tiebreakers:
Preliminary Scoring Procedures - A. Most Points B. Head to Head
C. Goal Differential (total goals scored minus goals scored against) (Maximum of +4 or -4 per match) D. Least goals allowed E. PK's We will be shipping the trophies to the team managers addresses listed on the Soccer In College team profile. Team Managers, could you please verify the correct address is listed. Contact the tournament director (tournamentdirector@nasa-ga.org) if a correction is needed.

8/31/09 12:30pm It appears all score corrections have been received. We will be taking schedules offline to make the adjustments to declare Champions and Finalists and will put back on line ASAP. Thank you to all of you for the incredible patience and understanding that has been displayed.
8/30/09 5:00 PM We are going through some very soggy score sheets, please give us a little time to determine champions and finalists.
The division scores now posted are not the final outcome of Champions and Finalists. We are in the process of updating missing games and factoring the games that were not played. Please be patient as we want to be fair to all involved.
We will have the final outcome posted no later than late Monday afternoon.
Trophies will be shipped or delivered to the Champions and Finalists.
Please understand that after the heavy rains the area encountered today, the venues were deemed unplayable and unsafe by the venue owners, for our children to continue play.
8/30/09 12:45 PM - All venues are closed and tournament play has ended. Games scores will be posted for all games played and any games started but not completed. Champions and Finalists will be determined by point totals and trophies will be shipped to the respective winners.
8/29/09 8:30pm - Polo Field #2 will remain at South Forsythe for Sunday Games including the final game.
Noonday 1,2,3 will remain at Chestnut Log for Sunday.
Games will be played on Sunday as scheduled.
8/29/09 10:00 AM - Mudcreek and Tramore--sorry for any confusion. We are experiencing some difficulties with the scheduling matrix.
Games will be 45 minutes long - no halftime.
Games will be played as follows:
8:00 AM games will be played at 12:30 PM 9:30 AM games will be played at 1:30 PM 11:00 AM games will be played at 2:30 PM 12:30 PM games will be played at 3:30 PM 2:00 PM games will be played at 4:30 PM 3:30 PM games will be played at 5:30 PM 5:00 PM games will be played at 6:30 PM
8/29/09 7:30 am... Mudcreek and Tramore have been closed until noon. Games at both complexes will be shortened to 30 minute games. An updated schedule will be posted by 10:30am.
Noonday 9, 10, 11, and 12 have been closed until 11:00. Games have been pushed back 3 hours but will be played at full length.
Mount Paran will have a delayed start of no earlier than 11:00am to be determined in the next hour. Please check back.

Please pay close attention to your venue as some divisions are at two locations during the tournament.

NASA CLASSIC
Come join us in a pre-season weekend of great soccer at the NASA Classic Tournament! Held in the August each year, NASA is proud to present the 13th NASA Classic Tournament
Select Teams U9-U19 at all levels of play are welcome.
Games are played in the Metro Atlanta area with United Quest Park, Noonday Park and Metro North Park as the main venues
SPECIAL NOTE: The scoring parameters have been simplified for the Classic. Please review at the "Tournament Rules" tab under "Information" before August 28th.

Check In will be at the Metro North Park clubhouse on Friday, August 28th.
Available registration times are:
1 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM.

Forms needed for registration are as follows:
- Release of liability (1 copy)
- Official State roster (1 copy)
- Medical release forms - for review only
- Valid 2009-2010 Player passes - for review only
- Permission to travel/intent to travel for out of state teams (1 copy)
- Soccer in College tournament roster/Game card from your Soccer in College Team Page (1 copy per game)
Forms will be available for download upon acceptance of each team.
