The South's Premier Memorial Day Weekend Event is changing format!
Join over 130 teams from 12 states as they compete at the prestigious Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tennessee.
The ADIDAS Memphis Invitational Tournament invites the country's best boys and girls U9-U19. The M.I.T. since 1992 has a tradition as the perfect tournament to prep for USYSA Regionals, summer camps and ODP, or summer domestic and international tournaments.
The 2011 ADIDAS Memphis Invitational Tournament will guarantee 4 games for all ages containing 8 teams or more. This format will include multiple champions in the ages. If you start slow you can still advance to the second or third level championship and get 4, 5 or possibly six games. All round robin games will be Saturday and Sunday. Quarterfinals and Semifinals will be on Sunday. Finals will be on Sunday unless the bracket is less than eight teams.
Guaranteed 2011 ADIDAS Germantown Invitational Acceptance: We turn teams away from the Germantown Invitational Tournament every year as we do not have enough fields to accept all. If you attend the 2011 ADIDAS Memphis Invitational Tournament you can guarantee two important things for your team:
1. You can lock into the 2010 GIT price.
2. By applying online by the August 1st Early bird deadline for the GIT you will guarantee your acceptance into the 2011 ADIDAS Germantown Invitational Tournament.
The games for both events are played at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Southeast Shelby County in Memphis Tennessee. The finest complex in the Southeast Regiom, there are 16 FIFA dimension (115 yds X 75 yds), hybrid Sports Bermuda grass, and lighted playing fields. The fields have a drainage system to assure quick dissipation of water during rain periods. There is also a 2,500 plus seat stadium. The playing surface is state of the art with an underground drainage and sprinkler system. This hybrid Bermuda field is completely flat and measures 116 yards by 72 - 76 yards. Many finals are played here.
We are committed to making both events top caliber and we know with your participation we cwill bring the MIT up to GIT standards while the weather is still warm with this format change. We hope you will commit now to bringing your team to both events for 2011.

After the games, take in nearby shopping and restaurants or access Downtown 15 minutes away to visit Historic Beale Street, The National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis in May or the Memphis Redbirds AAA Baseball Team.
