Copa Memphis x Soccer Rocks...
|
| is a first of its kind event in this area. We aim to bring the country and the world together through it’s two greatest unifiers, football (soccer) and music to our world class soccer facility, Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, TN. Mike Rose features 17 pristine bermuda grass fields in a centrally located and easily accessible area of the city. The tournament (Copa Memphis) is about bringing the best and most diverse players together in competition and celebration. This event will follow the world’s biggest soccer tournament the World Cup in South Africa, and this is the spirit which we are modeling our tournament after. Copa Memphis welcomes all our soccer brothers & sisters from around the world, coming together in unity through the beautiful game.
If your passion is the beautiful game then Copa Memphis is the place to be. The tournament will be for ages U9-19 and will also include a “World Cup” open division for adults. This open division will consist of teams made up of players from the same country or region and should bring national pride and the combining of cultures to our tournament. We intend to raise awareness for local charities and support the soccer players in our area that need financial assitance for fields equipment etc.
