The Capital District Youth Soccer League invites your participation in a high level competition for ODP, Select, and Premier teams. Our area is one of the fastest growing regions in the country for youth soccer, having recently produced nationally competitive teams, national youth team players and state high school championships.
The Capital District Youth Soccer League will also be the host the 2010 US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Memorial Day weekend 2010. We invite your to come play on some of the same beautiful fields that will be used for the Presidents Cup, experience playing with some of the best referees in the state and having a three man system for each game…not just the finals! Come see for yourself why Region 1 picked the Capital District Youth Soccer League to host the Presidents Cup this year.

Summer in Upstate New York is full of fabulous destinations in places like Saratoga Springs, Lake George the Berkshires, Adirondacks, and Catskills, plus the capital city of NY, Albany. Albany is a vibrant and historic city, a wonderful place to combine soccer with outdoor activities, history and relaxation. Easy access to places such as Lake Placid, the Tanglewood Music Festival, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Vermont and Massachusetts make it a perfect choice for a summer getaway.
The NYS Empire Cup guarantees a minimum of four matches for each team. U11-U13 teams will have 50 minute games and all playoff games will be 60 minutes. U14-U15 teams will play 60 minute games and all playoff games will be 70 minutes.
Applications are available online so register today by clicking the "Apply" button. Once you complete your registration, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. When we reach our deadline for registrations Aprill 15, 2010, we will notify the accepted teams by April 30, 20010.
