Josh Taylor

After spending seven seasons as an assistant coach with the program, Josh Taylor was named the eighth head coach in SNHU men's soccer program history on April 30, 2015.


"SNHU has been my home for the last seven years and I have always felt privileged to be involved with such a storied program. SNHU has always been a special place for me and I am excited to take the next step as head coach," said Taylor upon his promotion.


Taylor resides with his beautiful wife, Erin - the backbone of their family - in Salem, N.H., with their daughters, Lulu and Pippa, and two bulldogs, Paddy and Journey.

Scott Chrysafidis

Scott Chrysafidis joined the SNHU men's soccer staff as an assistant coach in August 2022.


Chrysafidis arrived in Manchester after serving four years as the head coach at Finlandia University, a Division III institution in Hancock, Mich. The program qualified for postseason play in 2019 and 2021. He coached seven all-conference selections and two Rookie of the Year honorees during his tenure.


Prior to his stint leading the Lions, Chrysafidis was the head assistant coach for varsity and head JV coach at New England College (2012-15). During his four seasons, the Pilgrims went 45-26-7 and reached the North Atlantic Conference semifinals three times.


Chrysafidis attended NEC, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Sport and Recreation Management. He is currently completing a Master’s in Business, specializing in Sports Recreation Management.

Phil Tuttle

Phil Tuttle began his third stint as a member of the Southern New Hampshire men's soccer staff in July 2023.


Tuttle originally was a member of the SNHU staff from 2012-14, helping the Penmen to a 58-7-3 (.875) record, as well as its second NCAA Division II National Championship in 2013. He was again on the staff from 2018-20.


A native of Hooksett, N.H., Tuttle was a five-year member of the soccer program at Notre Dame. While there, he served as a team captain for the Fighting Irish and led Notre Dame to a pair of Big East regular season titles. Following graduation, he was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer and has played the last two seasons with the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Professional Division. He also spent the 2012 preseason with the New York Red Bulls.


A 2010 graduate of Notre Dame with a degree in Business Administration, Tuttle is also the president of Global Benefit Coffee. He resides in Hooksett.
