Casey Moore

Casey Moore is currently the all-time wins leader at Alvernia University for men’s soccer and has the highest winning percentage in program history. He has been a part of Alvernia University’s coaching staff since the 2004 season. Serving as an assistant from 2004 – 2007, Moore has been at the helm of the Golden Wolves soccer program since 2008. His head coaching record since 2008 is 133-120-34.


Moore has helped lead the program to post-season play 11 of his 14 seasons including being crowned ECAC Champions twice in 2012 and 2015. The program consistently plays a rigorous non-conference schedule to prepare the team for post-season play. Since 2015, the team has posted one of the highest strength of schedules (.SOS) in the nation.


Moore has coached many USC All-Americans, D3 Soccer.com All-Americans, USC Regional All-Americans, MAC Conference Players of the Year, ECAC MVP’s, and MAC All-Conference honorees throughout his coaching tenure at Alvernia., While individual awards do not really concern Moore, player development has been a key component to the team success at Alvernia. The focus for his program is centered around a culture of excellence with a strong emphasis on family and relationships. The Golden Wolves seek to strengthen bonds and relationships between themselves daily. The brotherhood between players is something that will last forever. Winning is certainly a goal within the program, but it is not the ultimate purpose that drives the team to success. Winning becomes a byproduct of the actions and decisions of the team. The team looks to honor each other by pursuing excellence through our culture and values. Academics have become a big priority under Moore’s tenure. Alvernia's soccer program has consistently posted one of the highest team GPA’s out of all the male sports programs at Alvernia University. The team has earned the USC Team Academic Award every year since 2012. On top of that, his players have won numerous academic awards including multiple MAC Scholar-Athletes, USC Scholar All Americans, USC Scholar All Region, and All MAC Academic honors.


Along with his coaching duties at Alvernia, Moore is also the Head Coach for United Soccer League II (USL2) side Reading United A.C. Reading United has consistently been one of the best USL2 clubs in North America. Reading United has developed over 150 players that have played professionally throughout the world. Moore was a two-sport standout at Elizabethtown where he was captain of both the soccer and swimming programs. In soccer, Moore was an NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American midfielder and in the pool, he was an All-American swimmer for the Blue Jays. He was twice the receipt of the David B. Eavenson award, which is awarded to the Most Outstanding Swimmer in the MAC Conference. He was recently named to the MAC 100 All-Century Team for his swimming accolades. In 2020, Moore was inducted into the Elizabethtown Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall of Fame. At Wilson High School, Moore was a team captain for the soccer and swim teams. In soccer, he was District III Champion and an All-County midfielder and in the pool, he won multiple team and individual District III Championships and was a 3x All-American. In 2017, Moore was inducted into the Wilson Bulldogs Athletics Hall of Fame. Moore holds USSF and NSCAA coaching licenses. He and his wife, Jenna, live in the Exeter School District with their two sons, Carter and Lawson.

Justin Allegra

Justin Allegra has been a part of Alvernia University since 2001, and with the Alvernia University’s men's soccer coaching staff since 2015. Allegra serves as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Men’s Soccer program. The Golden Wolves are two-time ECAC Champions.


During the 2015 season, the Golden Wolves captured the ECAC South Championship for the 2nd time in 4 years.


Allegra played at all soccer levels including state, regional, and national level soccer teams. Allegra played with many players in the MLS and overseas. Allegra was a two-sport player at Archbishop Ryan who was a 2nd and 3rd team All Catholic player in 2000 and 2001. Allegra was on the 1998 PCL Cathloic League Championship team. Allegra also was a 2nd team All Catholic in 2000 and 2001 for tennis.


Allegra was a two-sport standout at Alvernia where he was captain of both soccer and tennis programs. In soccer, Allegra was a 4-year starter for the then Crusaders, team captain, and an All PAC Conference selection. Allegra is the first ever two-sport Hall of Fame athlete at Alvernia. Allegra is a three-time All-PAC player. He was named to the First Team in 2002 and Second Team in 2003 and 2004. In Alvernia’s record book, Allegra is fourth in goals with 26, first in assists with 35, and first in points with 87. Allegra is the single-season assist record holder with 10 in 2003. Allegra was also a 3-time All Pac Conference player in tennis for singles and doubles.


Allegra has been consistent with his schoolwork in which he won the All PAC Academic Scholar Award all 4 years at Alvernia.


Allegra has coached at all levels. Allegra currently coaches the Springfield elite travel soccer team the past 4 years. Allegra also coaches the Upper Moreland high school boys varsity soccer team. Allegra’s team were the 2020 District Champions and took his team to the final four in the PIAA state championship.


Allega also currently serves as a high school English and special education teacher at Upper Moreland high school. Allegra also has a Master’s Degree in Integrating Technology into the classroom from Ashford University. Allegra, his wife Kristen, and son Bradley live in Upper Dublin, PA
